Icelandic architecture agency PK Arkitektar has built the house B25 in Iceland, in Reykjavík. The concept of this house is that a wall of the facade was made in volcanic red stones which hide the doorway in a hollow. This minimalist home is to discover in photos in the next part of the article.

The Other Face of Santorini

Greek photographer Petros Koublis was commissioned by luxury hotel Vedema located in Santorini, in the village Megalochori, in the middle of 400 years old wineries built around volcanic stones. The hotel wanted him to take pictures of the exteriors to decorate the rooms’ walls and show the “real” face of the island. 100 prints have been achieved with interior designer Stamos Hondrodimos (Design Laboratorium).

He wanted to see a volcano, that by chemical reactions, emit rivers of molten sulphur that get the particularity to generate a kind of blue light.
